FAQs

How to Order?
Our website is where all orders and payments are accepted. If you have submitted an email order in the past, we will redirect you to complete your order through the website. Of course if you have any questions, feel free to reach out to stlcheeseboards@gmail.com. We are always happy to hear from our customers!

How much notice should I provide before I order?
We ask for 48 hours notice for all orders. When you go to order you'll see that dates will no longer be available 48 hours or less. Additionally, if a date is sold out, it will not be an available date option to choose.

How do I know which size to order?
We always want to make sure you get the right size cheese board for your gathering. We will often ask customers if they want the cheese board to serve as an appetizer or as the main focal part of the meal. All recommended serving sizes are appetizer portion suggestions. If serving as the main meal, consider going a size up.

How long can I leave the board out to graze on?
We recommend pulling your board out of the refrigerator 30 minutes prior to serving. You can graze on the board from 1-2 hours max depending on room temp. Keep temperature in mind for outdoor events, particularly higher temp days.

Do I get to keep the board once I'm done?
Our boards are available on biodegradable options but also available on purchasable wooden boards. You are able to add on a wooden cutting board or wooden platter to your order as an add-on option. If you do not select a wooden board add-on, your order will come on the biodegradable board at no extra charge.

Where are the cheese boards assembled?
All cheese boards are created in a shared commercial kitchen called The Creative Cookery. We are fully insured and are certified ServSafe food handlers. Cheese board businesses are similar to restaurants and require the same food guidelines. We want to make sure your food is safe as well as beautiful!

How do I pickup my cheese board?
Since we are a small business, we aren’t able to have a store front yet. We have partnered with four amazing local businesses for pickup locations. Just head inside and tell them you’re there to pickup your St. Louis Cheese Board! Please note these businesses are not affiliated with St. Louis Cheese Boards. They are just amazing local businesses who are helpful in creating a convenient experience for our customers! Once you arrive at your selected pickup location, you go inside and share the name on the order and the employee will get your board order for you!
